The NAIC committees have worked on a bond project with the Iowa Department of Insurance and interested parties since October 2020. The intent of the bond project is to establish principles-based guidance for determining what is a bond. Attend this session to hear the details of the “Bond Definition” project (SAPWG 2019-21) and reporting changes that will impact the 2025 Schedule D, Part 1. Examples and use cases will be presented.
