Chris Folkman is Senior Director of Product Management at Guidewire Software, where he is responsible for analytics that help insurers automate and augment decisions around pricing and risk selection. He has extensive experience on both the broker and carrier sides of insurance, where he has led many aspects of property and casualty operations including underwriting, pricing, predictive analytics, catastrophe modeling, and regulatory affairs. Prior to Guidewire, he led the global data team of Risk Management Solutions (RMS). Chris holds a BA from Stanford University. He is a licensed insurance broker and a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
